Just call me Electro!

Man oh man! I have some juicy stories that just happened but alas I can't let them rip on my blog. (see my previous post) But I guess I can tell some other random stories to keep this blog moving. I'm loving this blog and have tons of random rants that I could talk about all day.

Alex Jones

I am a fan now of Alex Jones. (Website plug: infowars.com) I'm listening now and he just made a valid point on his talk show this morning:

"People in China are getting sick from fumes working 18 hours in factories producing I-Pads while American children plug into the matrix and spend time staring at an I-Pod or I-Pad screen instead of spending time with family or friends"  -Alex Jones

This I agree with 100 percent. Read No Logo. It is an eye opener also.

Electric Circus

Last Monday I was driving to the local sports arena to curl. I noticed a police car in the parking lot and thought it was strange for a police car to just be sitting there. Then I noticed a snow plow on the far side of the lot. I thought that was weird also. I parked anyways and got out. Literally two seconds later the parking lot is surrounded by fire department and an ambulance.
So what was going on? The snowplow had hit a pole and knocked down a power line. And where had I parked? Right in front of the downed line. Classic. You think the Police Officer would have had his flashing lights on to warn me or something.
I had gotten out like nothing was wrong.Right after I go out and headed into the arena the fire department blocked off the lot. At least I had a curling game to go and didn't need my car. By the end of the curling match (we won!) the parking lot was back to normal. Thank God nothing happened to me. How random is this!

Postcrossing

So I am officially at 10 recieved and 10 sent. I have a few direct swaps I'm participating in (2) and I have the potential for 3 more direct swaps. I'm loving my postcard adventures. I have managed to convert 3 people to become postcrossers.
