Everyone has been waiting!!!!!

Well I finally uploaded all the NYC pictures and videos. I was off on the total number of gigs. It was 11g instead of 10g. That is a classic and a half right there. It is 12:30 am and I am tired. But I will post a few pics. Here goes:

                           On the postcard grind!

"What's the deal with sidewalks? You don't walk sideways." That is my best Jerry imitation.

Riding the rail!

Central Park view!

I'm sitting on some juicy photos but it is late and I'm off to to bed.  Look for some exciting pictures and tales in the up coming days.

Summer Blues!

Sorry for not updating this blog as much. The summer is flying by and I'm trying to cram in as much stuff as possible. I only have so many hours so bear with me. I will upload some NYC pics and warriordash pics soon.

I'm off to see Transformers 3 tonight. I hate feeding the Hollywood machine but this time I am making an exception for my friend. Wish me luck (3 hours = yuck). Hopefully I don't fall asleep. Look for the review on my blog soon.

Survived Warriordash!

So I survived the Warriordash race in Barrie, Ontario. Visit www.warriordash.com to see what the race is all about. Basically it is a 3.9 mile running course with obstacles throughout to test your skills and endurance. It test my endurance all right.
Nowhere on the website did they mention that the race is basically up and down a skill hill! That is a classic right there. The constant up and down the skill hills drained me more than the obstacles. I tried to plow through the hills (run) but I ended walking them. I did not feel so bad as almost everyone else in our wave was walking.
I had a blast though, and it was cool that it is the first Warriordash in Canada. So technically I am a part of history. The race was well organized. I was impressed with the organization and layout. Hopefully it will reoccur in Canada next year.
I will add some more details about the race later. I am super zonked. It was a long day. Here is one photo I will leave you with!

Military crawls in my martial arts class paid off!

Harp Away!

Everyone is harping on me to update my blog more often (or have better stories). Now that is a "Classic" right there. I haven't uploaded my New York photos to my computer yet so I have no pics to post. I promise next week I will sit down and write a juicy blog posting with lots of photos. I have tons to show you such as:

  • a simulated mail drop of me using a NYC post box
  • the Soup Kitchen from Seinfeld
  • Jerrys Apartment (the show one and his real one)
  • Yankee Stadium and Citifield
I took about 10 gigs of photos and videos. Someone joked that I should have a camera tan around my face since in theory I was holding a camera to face and taking pictures every ten seconds. Ha!

This weekend I am off to Barrie, Ontario to run in a race. The website is here: http://www.warriordash.com/. Wish me luck! I hope I don't gas out after rope climbing.

Add-on! (Double-down)

My pals comments consisted of the following (about eating the Double Down) :

"Wow that dude spent $14 on sandwiches. We could have eaten at East Sides instead"

and

"Wow Rob will do anything for a blog entry"

and

"Its toonie Tuesday. For the same price Rob could have eaten 14 pieces of chicken and seven side orders of fries"
