Ha! The title was a teaser. I'm not wasting my time blogging about celebrity stuff, I leave that to http://www.dlisted.com/. It is my favorite website along with http://www.tmz.com/. You can follow those websites if you care about pop culture. So onto regular blog news:
1) Postcrossing : I finally have caught up on my mail. It has been a slow mail week so the postcrossing accounts (3) I manage are caught up. I'm almost at 100 for my main account and I wish to send out something nice for my 100th sent. And it is almost my one year anniversary of joining postcrossing. Yay!
2) Pen-pals: Again it has been a slow mail week so I just caught up yesterday. Double yay!
3) Entertainment news: I seen the remake of "The Thing". I prefer the original better. The first one had suspense and you cared about the characters. The remake - not so much.
4) Modern Warfare 2: I am currently level 46. Level 70 here I come. I'm losing steam on it though and maybe I will stop playing.
5) Drawing: I somehow got it in my head to try to learn how to draw. I was so excited when I "doodled" some faces a couple of days ago. I was so excited that I was actually "drawing" something until I looked at that a few days later and realized they are bad and I'm drawing at a 4 year old level. But hey I guess you have to start somewhere.
6) Favorite person: Things are going great.
7) Books: I'm still just reading roleplaying books in my free time.
8) Sad Meter*: I'm miss New York City.

And my costume was ...................
Well I did it! I always leave my costume to the last minute and I manage to pull it off. I want to build up the suspense of what I decided to be. My original idea fell through so I modified the plan with a little guidance from my friend. Luckily I took pictures so I can recreate it on here. So here goes:
How to build a Halloween costume 101 (2011 Edition):
So basically I became a walking advertisement for UPS. I don't mind because my friend works there. There was only a few drawbacks to this costume. They were the following: not being able to sit down and having to cram the box in the back of seat of the car which squashed some of the passengers.
The costume was generally well received and I took flak from some random girl because her "actual" costume she had ordered online was shipped by the "real UPS" and haven't arrived in time for Saturday night. And she was "really out of it" and blaming me. Quite amusing.
Here are some "action shots" of me trying to win a dance off:
Well tomorrow is the big day. So happy Halloween everyone! I will include pumpkin pics and other assorted fun stuff tomorrow.

You get what you pay for!
I finally had a bunch of juicy stories to write on my blog and finally found the time to update this so it is ironic that for some reason on this computer all my pics look fuzzy and messed up. I think it has to do with the memory card reader I bought at the Dollar Store. Thank you Made in China electronic device!
So - some of the pictures still work so here goes :
And scratch that because none of pics are working. Classic all around! Okay so I will have to update this later tonight. Sorry about that folks.
In the meantime I leave you with this : I wish to be a mailbox for Halloween! Is this a good idea or bad?

No Pics!
So sorry. So sorry. That should be my theme song to someone important in my life. Ha! But in reality I'm I'm saying sorry to my blog fans because as hard as I try I never update it as much as I could. I don't know what to tell you. I'm super busy and I'm always on the grind. I have no pics to show you cause I'm a friends computer and don't have access to pictures.
So what can I talk about? Here goes:
1) Modern Warfare 2 - I'm level 27 after playing for about 3 weeks. Level 70 here I come.
2) Postcrossing - I got 8 pieces of mail last week. This week I think I mailed out 2 or 3 and I have received maybe 1 or 2. I'm so happy because I barely have time to answer mail. Sorry Mary - I got your mail but haven't made you something yet.
3) Call of Duty: Black Ops -I played with some friends who are made me seem I like I don't know what I'm doing. And I thought I was "proficient". Classic.
4) Clutter: I unloaded 2 and a half garbage bags of clothes I won't miss. It feels good to unload clutter. You may not know but I may have the "gene" for clutter and I don't want to end up on tv on a episode of Hoarders. So I wage a clutter war when I can.
5) My fav gal: On the up and up!
6) Roleplaying games: I'm reading Manual of the Planes (D and D 3.5 edition) and wish I had people to play with.
7) Pop Culture: Lohan is back in court. Nothing new there.
8) Weather: It is cold and wet.
9) TV: I watched the premiere of the Walking Dead. It's awesome show and I hate all the bloggers and people on IMDB that say the show isn't good and needs more action. It is refreshing to see a show about zombies that focuses on characters and not just straight hack and slash every second.
10) Movies: I want to see "The Thing" but I haven't got around to it yet.

Ouch!
Playing this:
equals :
The red lines simulate my pain. Ha. I don't know what is more sad : my thumb hurting from playing too much X-Box 360 or that I'm blogging about it. Ouch is right. Better make that a double ouch!
I got 8 postcards in one day this week. And people are tailoring their postcards to my hobbies and interests - which explains Clint Eastwood and NYC. I love it!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I always say I will update my blog more than once and week and as ususal I will start off by saying I'm sorry for not updating as much. Classic! I should make it a New Years resolution to stay on the grind and update my blog more often. I take enough pictures and weird things always happen to me so it is not like I have a shortage of materials.
So in Canada it is holdiay time! This Monday is Thanksgiving which means :
Oops forgot the turkey! Better fix that :
And in case your wondering - I don't eat off a plastic pie plate normally (ha!) This was a to-go meal for my friend who is alone this weekend. This is what Thanksgiving is about my friends - food, family and friends!
And for unknown reasons I will leave you with this pic :
Have a good holiday to anyone in Canada reading this and for everyone esle enjoy your weekend.

Outrage!
I thought people could see the beauty in the world. I guess not! This was sent as a postcard to a receiver on postcrossing:
What would your reaction be? Would you think it was beautiful? Would you think it was a nice gesture? Would you be impressed that it made it through the mail intact? Can you guess what the response was?
The official response was :
"I'm very disappointed and shall I say angry. This is not a postcard and this goes against the intent of postcrossing. Blah blah blah.... Why would you send this to someone? How could you treat me like this? " *
*condensed version
I cannot believe that a fellow postcrosser or actually anyone that receives mail would be offended by this! I get that it does not fit the definition of a standard store bought postcard but still - why all the hate? I'm still stunned.
